This past Saturday was my baby shower (this was actually my 2nd one---our couple's Sunday School class gave us a very nice one Sunday before last). Demetrius and I feel very blessed and thankful for everyone who came and showered us with love and gifts. It was so neat seeing all of the little tiny clothes, onesies, and pampers. I can't wait for a sweet little girl to fill those tiny little clothes, onesies, and pampers (stinky ones too!)
My dear friend Christina (who I have known since the 2nd grade) and my mom put together a wonderful and as my mom would say "prayed over" event. Everything was nice---the food, games, and fellowship. Different people from all walks of life was there to share in this wonderful occasion! My heart is still overjoyed from actually both showers that we have had (Baby Shower #3 is this Friday---given by Demetrius' job---looking forward to it!)
We are just so thankful! And I cannot wait until Nyla meets all of the people who love her! (Mommy and Daddy can't wait either!)
